Donny Joe Collins

Donny Joe Collins, age 62 of Valdosta, GA passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at Pruitt Health-Holly Hill Nursing Home in Valdosta, GA. Donny was born April 19, 1959 in Madison FL to the late James Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Ferrell) Collins. He was a Security Guard with Bay liner and of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Collins, nephew, Mike Pittman, Jr, brother-in-law, James C. Morris.
Survivors include his sisters, Linda Ring and husband John of Quitman, GA, Tina Collins Corbitt of Valdosta, GA, Betsy Morris of Valdosta, GA; sister-in-law, Maureen Collins of Valdosta, GA; nieces and nephews: Angela M. Williams, Jacob Hathaway, Mary Giddens, Trevor D. Blanton, Megan Hempe (Kevin) and Justin Collins (Keeley); great nieces and nephews: Kailey Williams, Hailey Williams, Dylan Williams, Gavin Giddens, Luke Hempe, Logan Hempe and Hannah Hempe; numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 27, 2021 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. No formal visitation will be held.
