Of Lakeland, GA passed away on Tuesday October 22, 2019 in Tallahassee, FL. She was born on July 31, 1946 in Palmer, MA to the late Robert Connor and Dorothy (Leno) Bernatchez. She loved to crochet, attend the Senior Center and was part of the Red Hat Ladies group in Lakeland. Along with her father she is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Sandberg, two brothers: Bobby Connor and George B. “Chuck” Connor.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy (Leno) Bernatchez of Lakeland, GA; 3 sons, Gordon J. Sandberg of Massachusetts, Paul E. Sandberg of Texas, John Sandberg of Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Ginger Griffis of Lakeland, GA; 2 sisters-in-law, Charlotte Connor and Norma Connor; nieces, nephews and special friend, Nona Bessent.
