136 North Murray St., Lakeland, Ga. passed away Friday, July 14, 2006 in the Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born September 18, 1926 in Lanier Co. to the late John & Leah Stone Skinner, she was their 1st child of seven. Ms. Fania was a homemaker and hairdresser by trade and Baptist by faith. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Fania and one brother. Ms. Fania is a loving and devoted mother of 3 children, 2 Daughters, Linda Haynes of Dallas Texas, Lynn Luke Prasse of Lakeland, Ga. and a Son, Dennis Luke of Lakeland, Ga. Loving Grandmother of 9 and Loving Great-Grandmother of 18. Sister of 7 brothers, J.S. Skinner of Berrien Co., Leon Skinner of Clinch Co., Robert Skinner of Lanier Co., Kenneth Skinner of Berrien Co., Larry Skinner and Danny Skinner both of Berrien Co. And a number of Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside memorial service were held Monday, July 17, 2006 at 9:00 am in the Empire Cemetery. Music Funeral Services,
