Of Nashville passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Atkinson County, GA on October 31, 1937 to the late Joe E. and Catherine Murray Browning. Mrs. Dorothy worked for Lanier Health Services for many years. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by: Husband, Johnny Vernon Hendley, 4 brothers, William Browning, Franklin Browning, Buddy Browning, and Edward Browning.
Survivors include; Daughter and Son-in-law, Joyce and David Lanier of Nashville, GA, Son and Daughter-in-law Jerry and Sandra Hendley of Valdosta, GA, Son and Daughter-in-law Joey and Rena Hendley of Lake Park, GA, Son Jimmy Hendley of Chelsea, AL, Grandchildren: Jessica Hendley, Joshua Hendley, Kacie Hendley, Joey Hendley, Jr, Justin Lanier, Sarah Lanier, McKenzie Pattillo, Grace Hendley, Mary Beth Hendley. Great Grandchildren: Olive Hendley, Blake Meadows and Grayson Womack Sister and Brother-in-law, Paulette and Caswell Sirmans of Lakeland, GA, Brother-in-law, Bobby Jack Hendley of Lakeland, GA
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Berrien County with burial to follow in the Webb Hendley Cemetery.
