Dorothy Wilson Knight Marinell

Dorothy Wilson Knight Marinell, age 77, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away, Friday, April 15, 2022, at her residence. Dorothy was born in Hialeah, Florida on August 4, 1944, to the late Peggy Elizabeth Nagle Wilson and Frank Wilson. She was Civil Service with Moody Air Force Base as a NAF Account Services Representative. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karrie Estelle Knight, one brother, Jim Wilson.
Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-four years, Buddy Marinell of Valdosta, Georgia; sons, Koby Knight and wife Trish of Haslet, Texas, Michael Marinell of Bowersville, Georgia; daughter, Kristal Bedene and husband Paul of Valdosta, Georgia; eight grandchildren: Karaline Knight, Kassidy Knight, Zach Marinell, Devon Knight, Ryah Marinell, Josh Marinell, Ana Marinell and Seth Bedene; sister, Pat Wren of Jacksonville, Florida; two brothers, Danny Wilson and wife Nancy of Miami, Florida, David Wilson and wife Marsha of Demorest, Georgia; sister, Peggy Guderian of Shawnee, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held, 2 O’clock PM, Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Music Funeral Services, Valdosta Chapel.
