Dorothy M. Lott – 97
Of Valdosta, GA, and Jacksonville, FL, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015, at her son's residence. She was born in Seminary, Mississippi, on October 20, 1918, to the late Walter & Pearl Peebles Morris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Russell Lott. She was a loving Christian mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her time serving her church and loved playing the piano.
Survivors Include:
Daughter and Son-in-Law, Mary Ellen Weeks William of Valdosta, GA;
Son and Daughter-in-Law, Kim Lott Jean of Jacksonville, FL;
Daughter and Son-in-Law, Phyllis Gilbert Paul of Jacksonville, FL;
And 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by two sisters
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 29, 2015, in The Rock Church, 1401 Old Clyattville Rd., Valdosta, GA 31601. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 30, 2015, in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations to any hospice of your choice. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
