Formerly of Valdosta and Brooks County passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Presbyterian Home in Quitman, GA. She was born in Tampa, FL on December 9, 1924 to the Willie Mae McMullen McAulay and Walter Lamar McAulay. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Durward L. Bland, and her granddaughter, Kelli Bland.
Mrs. Bland is survived by her 3 Sons, James L Gail Bland of Kennesaw, GA, Richard Serie Bland of Signal Mountain, TN, W. Michael Brenda Bland of Lake Park, GA; Grandsons, Jay and Jeff Bland, both of Kennesaw, GA, Jason Bland of Paris, France; Granddaughters, Jennifer Nathan Salvemini of Navarre, FL, and Catherine Matt Elrod of Lawrenceville, GA; Great Grandchildren, Nico, Jayce, and Tess Salvemini of Navarre, FL.
Funeral service will be held at Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:00AM with a private burial service in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
