Dorothy Mcgraw

Dorothy McGraw, 92, Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on February 1, 1926 in Cairo, GA to the late Leonard and Bessie (Cooper) Thompson. She was retired from Pardons and Paroles with the State of Georgia Department of Correction. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Gregg McGraw, Grandson, Ray McGraw, and Sister, Marjorie Marsh.
Survivors include: 2 Sons and Daughter-in-laws, Ray and Bobbi McGraw of Valdosta, GA, William “Bill” H. and Kathy McGraw of Lake Park, GA; 4 Grandchildren: Michael McGraw, Allison Kumpik (John), Leigh Wise (Brad), and Greg Duff; 3 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Brother and Sister-in-law, Jerry and Beth Thompson of Cairo, GA; And numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
