Of Ray City passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on July 27, 1942 to the late Reavis & Hazel Little Rice in Hahira, GA. Ms. Rubio was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church. She loved looking at facebook, word search, solitaire and watching Sunday morning preaching. She retired from Dollar General in Homerville.
Survivors Include: 3 Daughters & Sons-in-law: Dena & Leland Chemerys, Titusville, FL, Ginger Chapman, Nashville, GA, Rita & Michael Tompkins, Valdosta, GA; 7 Grandchildren: Bailey Dowling, Frankie Campos, Jesse ThomasAngel, Jonathan ThomasErica, Jessica Thomas, Layton TompkinsCrystal and Keri Tompkins; 5 Great Grandchildren: Serenity, Harmony, Eva, Michael and Kassie; Sister & Brother-in-law, Mary Beth & Larry Connell, Ray City, GA; Brother & Sister-in-law, Bobby & Wanda Rice, Ray City, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Pleasant Cemetery in Berrien County, GA.
