Dorothy Louvenia Sapp

Dorothy Louvenia Sapp – 86 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Wednesday November 25, 2020 in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born on July 21, 1934 in Camilla, Georgia to the late Isadora (Hatcher) and Arthur Simpson. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved cooking, fishing, and being surrounded by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Leonard Sapp, son, Jimmy Ray Sapp, daughter, Debra Sapp.
Survivors include her husband, Lacy A. Strickland of Valdosta, GA; Children: Patricia S. Williamson and husband Vernon of Quitman, GA, Kay S. Caballero and husband Omar of Tampa, FL, Sonny Sapp and wife Cheryl of Lake Park, GA, Roy Sapp and wife Dale of Quitman, GA, Leonard Sapp and wife Sabrina of Nashville, GA, Steven Sapp and wife Julie of Nashville, GA, Kirk Sapp of Quitman, GA, Melinda S. Lipp and husband Eric of Senoia, GA, Timothy Sapp and wife Christina of Lake Park, GA; 35 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside Rites for Dorothy will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday November 29, 2020 in Enoch Creek Cemetery in Echols County, Georgia.
