Dorothy “Dot” M. Smith ~ 75
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her home. She was born on April 20, 1946 to the late Mary Lou (Arnold) and Olive Frier. She was a member of Swilley Hill Church of God, she enjoyed gospel music and going to music hall. She had a large extended family and loved kids and her family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Bobby G. Smith; son, Bobby E. Smith Sr; sisters and brother-in-laws, Louise and Gurdine Stanley, Linda Crouch Wetherington and Joe Crouch; brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby and Helen Frier, Archie Frier; and close friend Rubinell McDonald.

Survivors include her daughter, Anne Smith (Greg Love) of Valdosta, Georgia; brother, Shelton (Joan) Frier of Valdosta, Georgia; grandchildren: B.J. (Tiffany) Smith, Brian Smith, Brittany (Taylor) Walker; great grandchildren: Laykin Smith, Isaac Walker, Luke Walker, and numerous nieces and nephews and her fur babies: Molly Smith and Coco Smith, Ms. Kitty

A graveside Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 12, 2021 at Friendship Cemetery in Hahira, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the cemetery 30 minutes prior to the service.
