Of Valdosta passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 in Heritage House Nursing Home. She was born in Remerton, GA on August 8, 1928 to the late Alvin Lee & Eva Harris Stephenson. She was of the Methodist faith. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Dale Charos, sister, Katherine Hafner, and brothers, Langford Stephenson and Willard Stephenson.
Mrs. Charos is survived by her son, Anthony Dale "Tony" Charos, Macon, GA; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Vernon & Marion Stephenson, Lake Park, GA, Hugh & Betty Stephenson, Valdosta, GA, Leland & Gigi Stephenson, Hamilton County, FL; Sisters & Brother-in-law, Joyce Johnson, Thomasville, GA, Virginia & Jim Parker, Hamilton County, FL; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law Mary Ann & Dale Gardels, Independence, MO and several nieces and nephews
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 13, 2011 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior services Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the funeral home.
