Dorsey Dean Mallow

Dorsey Dean Mallow – 85 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on June 8, 2021 at Lake Haven Nursing home surrounded by his family. He was born in Floydada, Texas on November 23, 1935 to the late Lester Lee Mallow and Johnnie (Reasoner) Terrell. Dorsey enjoyed woodworking, gardening, especially growing vegetables. He was a Mason, Shriner, and a member of the American Legion, 40 and 8. He also served in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Mallow.
Survivors include, loving wife of 63 years Janet Mallow of Valdosta, Georgia; Daughter Tracie Peters (Randy) of Valdosta, Georgia; 2 sons: Kevin Mallow (Fiancé Jenny) of Valdosta, Georgia, Kent Mallow (Jeff) of Tallahassee, Florida; 1 brother, Harold Mallow of Texas; 3 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday.
