Dovall G. Webb – 85
Of Valdosta passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on March 23, 1935 in Lowndes County to the late R.L. and Dovie Mae (Sumner) (Step-mother Vera Duggen Webb). Mr. Webb retired from Lee Office Equipment after 36 years of service. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and former church deacon at Cherry Creek Baptist Church. He was known throughout Valdosta as an avid sports fan who rarely missed any Valdosta State sporting events and was often seen sitting with friends at VSU’s softball games. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Willie Webb, Edsel Webb, Robbie Stubbs and Mary Crosby.
Survivors include his Son and Daughter-in-law, Gregory L. Webb (Roslyn) of Lizella, GA; Son and Daughter-in-law, Michael “Kevin” Webb, Sr. (Crystal) of Wesley Chapel, FL; Daughter, Lorna Denise Clements of St. Mary’s, GA; Daughter and Son-in-law, Sherry Lynn Adair (James Sr.) of Jonesville, VA; 12 Grandchildren: Chris Linder, Jennifer Lynn Ortega (Eric), Brittany Webb, Amber Webb, Michael K. Webb, Jr., Lawton J. Webb, Emma, Carly, Carson Storie, Kyle Craven, Kolby Craven, James Adair, Jr. (Jamie), Sarah Adair Maness, Madison Adair and Jacob Adair; 11 Great Grandchildren: Ashlie Linder, Austin Gregory Linder, Savannah Ortega, Kylee Perkins, Georgia Perkins, Lilly Perkins, Hunter Brooks, Aubree Scarborough, Atticus Adair, Thatcher Adair and Braxton Maness; Great-Great Grandchildren, Irie Linder-Hawkins.
A private family memorial service to honor Mr. Dovall’s life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
