E. Muriel Kinkand Sinnott

E. Muriel Zinkand Sinnott – 95

Of Valdosta passed away Saturday July 24, 2004 in Presbyterian Home in Quitman after a lengthy illness. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 25, 1908 to the late Joseph N. & Maria T. Nissen Zinkand. She was a New York University Alumna, a retired New York City High School Teacher and a member of the St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Sinnott was an Honorary Member of the Alpha Kappa Delta, Business and Professional Women’s Club Inc., former President of American Assn. of University Women and former President Residents’ Association, Presbyterian Nursing Home, Quitman, Georgia. She held a Student Pilot Certificate and was a member of the Women Flyers of America.

Memorial services were held at 12:10 Wednesday July 28, 2004 in the Chapel of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church with the Father John O’ Brien officiating.
