Earl Golden

Earl Golden – 80 of Lakeland passed away August 27, 2018 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born on October 22, 1937 in Lakeland, FL to the late I.L. & Ebbar (Bellflower) Golden. He retired from Brockway Standard after over 30 years. When able “Early Bird” could be found chasing a pack of hound dogs after a big buck, he also loved fishing and playing cards. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Golden; sister, Erma King and brothers: Edward Golden, Robert Golden, Melvin Golden & Harold Golden.
Survivors Include: Daughter, Deborah “Deb” Golden, Highlands Ranch, CO; 2 Sons & Daughter-in-law: Gene & Jo-Lynne Golden, Nashville, GA, David & Ashley Golden, Knoxville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Gena Rathel (Dusty), Josh Golden (Jodi), Emily Golden & Sarah Golden; 5 Great Grandchildren: Tristen, Caylie, Haven, Ethan & Liam; Brother & Sister-in-law, Jimmy & Annette Golden, Lakeland and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery.
