Eddie Carlo

Eddie Carlo – 82 Of Valdosta passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 in the VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He was born December 18, 1934 in Valdosta to the late Edward J. & Virginia (Roseman) Carlo. Eddie served in the United States Army and was a Paratrooper. He enjoyed selling livestock, had a big heart and picking up cans in the neighborhood. Eddie never meet a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Bolling, 2 sisters, Barbara Ann Baldwin & Helen Carter.
Survivors Include: Wife, Stella Suggs Carlo, Valdosta; Daughters & Son-in-law: Gail & Joe Ferrera, Valdosta, Gina McDonald, Oklahoma, Rhonda Terry, Valdosta; Sons & Daughters-in-law: Eddie Carlo, Valdosta, Patrick & Stephanie Carlo, Valdosta, Tony Suggs, Valdosta, Greg & Marie Suggs, Valdosta, James & Kim Suggs, Valdosta, Robert Carlo, Statesboro, GA, 14 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Sister & Brother-in-law, Veronica & Michael Mowls, Valdosta; Special Friend, Dawn Higgins, Valdosta and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services.
