Of Hahira, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 25,2025, at South Georgia Medical Center of Valdosta Georgia. He was born on May 27, 1955, to the late Dewey Edgar Musgrove Sr. and Dollie Mae (Altman) Joyner in Jacksonville, Florida. Eddie was a genuinely caring and easygoing person, always ready to lend a hand or share a kind word. His love for reading was evident, as he found solace and joy in the pages of books, whether it was a classic novel or an inspiring story. Above all, Eddie had a deep love for God and his family, which was the foundation of everything he did. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones. In his downtime, Eddie enjoyed nothing more than unwinding with old movies, immersing himself in timeless classics that brought back fond memories and offered a sense of comfort. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Pa Joyner.
Survivors include his son, Dewey Edgar Musgrove III of Florida; sister, Cindy Boyd (James Bennett) of Valdosta, Georgia; brother, Willie Musgrove (Janet) of Hahira, Georgia; brother, Randy Musgrove of Augusta, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Crystal Walker, Clint Boyd, Coty Musgrove, Mingo Musgrove, Wayne Musgrove, Tommy Musgrove, Misty Musgrove; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2025, at Friendship Cemetery in Hahira, Georgia. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
