Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Valdosta on September 10, 1945 to the late William Pressley & Winnie Lee Zipperer. He was of the Methodist faith. He worked as a truck driver to more thank 40 years and as a bird dog trainer. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his, daughters, Belinda Ann Zipperer and Glenda Fay Zipperer and a brother, Wendell Pressley Zipperer,

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2011 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 21, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home in the families' name.
