Edith Bass

Edith Bass - 79

of Lakeland passed away Saturday Night May 15, 2004
at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden
illness. She was born in Clinch County and had lived
in Lanier County for most of her life. She was a
devoted member of the Unity United Methodist Church
where she was a member of the Frosted Flakes. She was
also a member of the Friendship Quilting Club. Her
Sister, Agnes Smith preceded her in death.

Husband for 61 years John D. Bass, Sr.
Lakeland Ga.

Daughter & Son-in-Law Judy & Britt Moore
Waycross Ga.

Son & Daughter-in-Law John D. & Glenda R. Bass,
Jr., Homerville Ga.

5 Grandchildren: Clint, Amy, John III "Trey", April,
and Jamie

4 Great-Grandchildren: Cisco, Nathan, Walker, and
Aniston

Sister Christine Strickland
Millers Creek, N.C.

A number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday
May 18, 2004 at Unity United Methodist Church with
burial following in the church cemetery.
