Edith Eanes Burnham – 86
Of Valdosta, GA formerly of Freeport, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on April 1, 1933 in Farley Hill, West Virginia to Joseph A. and Ida (Runyon) Mullens. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Edith ran the family decorating business; and along with her late husband she taught Sunday school and was a youth director for many years. She loved music and you could often hear her playing the guitar and singing. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Kerry Eanes; Brothers, Joe Mullens, Dempsey Mullens, Tiche Mullens, Austin Mullens, Billy Mullens; sisters, Florence M. Mills, Marie M. Gray and Virginia M. Miller.
Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, Wilburn Burnham of Valdosta, GA, son, Wayne Eanes & wife, Wanda of Spring City, TN, daughter, Darlene Eanes Ray of Valdosta, GA, son, Mike Burnham & wife, Kim of Quitman, GA; grandchildren, Julian, Kari, Dylan, Michael, Matt; four great grandchildren; sisters, Freda M. Harris of Dayton, TN, Tennis M. Friend of Sophia, West Virginia, Audrey M. Butterworth of Athens, MI, and brother, Covey Mullens & wife, Nellie of Beaver, West Virginia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 25, 2019 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Valdosta, GA.
