Of Valdosta, passed away at the Langdale Hospice House early Monday morning, February 28, 2011 after a lengthy illness. She was born September 21, 1940 to the late Eddie and Wilma Stevens Joyce in Lanier County, Georgia. She was a housewife and was Baptist by Faith. She is preceded in death her son, Dennis Vernon Maloney.

As per her wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Dr., Valdosta, GA 31602.
