Edward "Eddie" Dees

Edward Dees, 52, of Nashville passed away Sunday (March 22, 2020) at home after a long battle with a respiratory problem.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Music Funeral Home, 88 W Main St, Lakeland, GA 31635 . Father Norris Stephen will officiate.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. for immediate family members only.
Eddie was born June 3, 1967 in Gainsville FLA, a son of Gene and Helen Dees.
Mr. Dees never married and surviving are his two brothers of Nashville, GA Jerome and Richard and sister of Arkansas Angela Dees.
He was preceded in death by his father Gene E. Dees
Eddie loved hunting and fishing and developed the skills of tanning furs of various different game. He was an outstanding artist and loved to draw and paint. Early in his life he joined the Army and earned the military occupation specialty 19K, M1 armored crewman. He advanced to the rank of Specialist (E-4). He was discharged with honors in May of 1989. He was educated in the recycling industry and mainly worked with the precious metals aluminum and copper. For 20 years he helped the world be cleaner and more enjoyable one day at a time.
The Dees family will have a private family service at a later date.
