Elaine Hall Hampton, 58, of Lakeland, passed away early Saturday morning, March 25, 2006, in Louis Smith Memorial Hospital, after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Hampton was born Feb. 4, 1948, in Lanier County to the late James A. and Katie Lou Hall. She was a pre-school teacher for many years. Mrs. Hampton was a member of Lakeland Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Thomas F. Hampton Sr.
Survivors include daughter, Kit Hampton of Lakeland; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Brandy Hampton Jr. ofLakeland; grandchild, Eathan Hampton, Lakeland; three sisters, Mary Watson of Lakeland, Marsha Chambers of Lakeland and Gail McCain of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, James Allen Tomlinson of Jensen Beach, Fla.; and an uncle and aunt, Edmond Patrick Sonny and Marcella Tomlinson of Nashville.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the Lakeland Seventh Day Adventist Church. A family service was held at the Hampton residence. Pastor Mark Piotrowski will officiate.
