Elba Rosa Soler, 77
Of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Langdale Hospice House.
Born on January 31, 1948, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Elba was the beloved daughter of the late Florencio Soler and Gloria Maria Flores. She dedicated 25 years of service to AT&T as a Customer Service Representative, where she was known for her professionalism, warmth, and unwavering dedication.
Beyond her career, Elba was a gifted creative spirit. A talented songwriter and accomplished author, she published four books—two in English and two in Spanish—leaving behind a meaningful literary legacy that reflected her rich cultural heritage and deep passion for storytelling.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Juan Rosario.
Elba is survived by her loving husband, Ray White of Valdosta, Georgia; children: Sarah Pinedo (Rick) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Omar Ali (Edith) of Los Angelas; grandchildren: Maricela Pinedo, Richard Pinedo, Matthew Ali and Nate Ali; great grandchild, Roman Pinedo; children by love: Tammy Lynn Rowe (Stacy) of Albany, Georgia and Tricia Lorraine Walter (Steve) of Melissa, Texas; siblings: Miriam Soler, Maricelis Soler, Flor Soler, Hildita Soler, David Soler and Michael Soler all of Puerto Rico; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at New Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the church.
