Eleanor Phillips Bollman Mrs. John passed away on September 10, 2011. Mrs Bollman was born in Miller County, Georgia January 8, 1925 growing up among the large Phillips family farms. She was the daughter of Louwelthy and Vasil Phillips.

Eleanor is survived by her husband of 38 years, John Bollman and one daughter, Lucinda Carlstrom of Atlanta, Georgia. A sister, Catherine Phillips Clark of Hiawassee, Georgia and a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and James Bollman of Jamestown, N.Y. Another sister-in-law, Carolyn Rinaldo resides in Calabash, S.C. Close nieces and nephews are Kaye Te Ronde and her husband Paul and Phillip and Tessa Clarke.

Mrs. Bollman was educated in the Miller County School System and immediately left for Washington, D.C. during World War II working with the Navy Department.
After she and Mr. Bollman married, she inrolled in the "62 " program at Valdosta State attending art classes and received her associate degree. She then, with her sister Catherine, began a trip around the world for several months covering most of the highlights. Upon return they traveled the United States and delighted in giving talks to her clubs, and any interested groups about travel.

The family requests no flowers. Donations should go to the building fund at St. Johns Catholic Church. A rosary service will be held at 7:00, Monday September 12, 2011 at Music Funeral Services, 3831 N. Valdosta Road. Burial will be held in the family plot at the Colquitt City Cemetery at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
