Elene Florence Luke – 72

Of Lakeland, passed away at her residence Friday, January 18, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lanier County to the late Lois Amanda Richardson and Jones William O’Quinn. She worked for the Lanier County Board of Education as a School Bus Driver. She is preceded in death by a son, John Clark & a brother Alton O’Quinn.

Survivors include: Husband, Robert Luke, Lakeland, GA; 2 Daughters & Son-In-Laws, Michelle Luke, Lakeland, GA, Tomme & Ryan Scribner, Lakeland, GA; 2 Sons, William Luke, Lakeland, GA, Greg Tinney, Winston Salem, N.C; 5 Grandchildren: Samuel Jones, Amanda Jones, Keegan Scribner, Christopher Tinney & Micah Tinney; 3 Great Grandchildren: Victoria Tinney, Autumn Tinney, & Karis Tinney; 2 Sisters & Brother-In-Laws, Willie & Jack Watson, Lakeland, GA, Jean Ingram, Lakeland, GA; 2 Brothers & Sister-In-Laws, Donald & Sylvia O’Quinn, Lakeland, GA, Jones & Pat O’Quinn, Lakeland, GA and a number of nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Empire Cemetery.
