Elizabeth “Ann” Brown, age 83, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 30, 2026. She was born to loving parents, Dolphus Williams and Grace Medley Williams, on May 18, 1943, in Enterprise, AL.

Ann Brown faithfully served the Lord alongside her husband, Doug Brown, on the mission field, dedicating their lives to sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Together, they ministered with compassion, encouraging believers, reaching those who have not yet heard the Gospel, and demonstrating God's love through both their words and their actions. Their commitment to God's calling is a testimony of faith, perseverance, and servant-hearted devotion, as they seek to glorify Him and make a lasting impact in the lives of the people they serve. For many years, Ann was a dedicated and compassionate social worker with the Department of Family and Children’s Services. She devoted her career to helping others, offering kindness, support, and care to those who needed it most. Her caring heart and commitment to making a difference touched many lives.

She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Curtis Douglas Brown and grandson, Hunter Brown.

Ann is survived by her children, Mark Brown (Diana) of Lakeland, FL, Kevin Brown (Laura) of West Fork, AK and Leann Brown of Adel, GA; grandchildren, Cameron Jellison (Casey) of Valdosta, GA, Bailey Strickland (Bradley) of St. Pete, FL, Britney Brown of Lakeland, FL, Jordan Napoles (Alyssa) of Lakeland, FL; great grandchildren, Kayden, Nolan, Jedidiah and Yeshua, Vivian and Eliana; sister, Wanda Reese (Scott of Jacksonville, FL, sister, June Spivey (Gillis) of Phenix City, AL, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 3, 2026, in the Valdosta chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, Alabama.
