Elizabeth Ann Coe

Elizabeth Vereen Coe, age 77, died Monday, March 8, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 2, 1943 to the late Annie Ruth Bellamy and Walter Vereen in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linney Joshua Coe. Elizabeth was a homemaker; loved her family, animals; won an award from National Poetry Society, also loved to help other people.
Survivors include her children: Valerie Lee of Naylor, Georgia, Peggie Miles and husband Gary of Menard, Texas, Richard Coe of Shannon, North Carolina, Chris Coe, Dewey Coe of Northumberland, PA. Grandchildren: Leyna Nelson, Daniel Stroud, Kyle Stroud, Kayla Stroud and great-grandchildren: Sarah Thompson, Riley Powell. Brother: Terry Walter Vereen and wife Karen of Conway South Carolina; Nieces, Victoria Ann Vereen and Nicole Grainger.
As per Mrs. Coe’s wishes, she will be cremated and no formal services will be held. The compassionate and caring staff of Music Funeral Services, Lakeland is serving Mrs. Coe’s family.
