Ellen V. Willis – 101
of Nashville, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville, GA. She was born on August 9, 1913 in Lineville, Clay County, AL to J.R. and Mattie Morgan Carpenter. She and her husband lived in Winter Haven, FL until 1951 when they moved to Nashville, GA where they farmed together. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in the West Berrien community of Nashville, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Theodore Willis, Sr., her son, A. T. Willis, four sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include her Daughter-in-Law, Mary Ann Willis of Nashville, GA; Grandchildren, Samantha Willis of Nashville, GA, Dee Ann & Craig Patterson of Nashville, GA; Great Grandchildren, Kayla McLain and Lindsey Register.

Graveside services will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Leila United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ellenton, GA in Colquitt County. The family will receive friends Friday evening, October 10, 2014 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville, GA. The family will leave in a procession Saturday morning from Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville, GA. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
