Ellis L. Bamburg 88
of Valdosta passed away Tuesday Morning, August 1, 2006 at the Fellowship Home after a lengthy illness. He was born in West Monroe, LA on May 18, 1918 to the late Beauford and Willie Talley Bamburg. Mr. Bamburg worked with Owens-Illinois Paper mill as a Wood yard Supervisor. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of Charity Baptist Church, American Legion Post #13, St. Johns the Baptist Masonic Lodge # 184 and the Shriners.

As per Mr. Bamburgs wishes he will be cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the Bamburgs residence, 4315 Oakridge Bend, Valdosta, Ga. from 1:00 to 7:00 P.M. today August 2, 2006.
