Of Barney passed away early Tuesday morning, May 23, 2006 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Griffin was born to the late Fleming Bates and Leila Spell Williams. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Along with spending time with her family some of her past times were playing Solitaire, puzzle books and Setback. She was preceded in death by a son, Parker Eastwood, grandchildren, Michelle Eastwood, Brothers; F.B. Williams, Jr., Johnny Williams, Sister; Minnie Pearl Hendrickson.

Graveside Services were held Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. in Campground Cemetery in Morven, GA. The family received friends this evening May 24, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home
