Elsie C. Branch

Elsie C. Branch 94 of Lakeland, Georgia passed away late Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Branch was born on May 2, 1918 to the late Thomas C. and Lucretia Tomlinson Conine of Clinch County. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernie Etheridge, her sons Charles E Branch and Wiley E Branch, son-in-law Benny Clement, her three brothers and three sisters. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lakeland and the owner and operator for many years of Branch's Store.

She is survived by her 2 Daughters & Son-in-Law:Cretia Clement, Douglas, GA; Jayne AllenRonaldValdosta, GA; Daughter-in-Law:Hazel R. Branch, Lakeland, GA; 7 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a number of Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012 at the funeral home. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the family.
