Of Hahira passed away Friday, January 25, 2008 in the Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was born in Hahira, Shiloh Community on November 23, 1932 to the late Lewis A. & Addie Powers Griffin. Mr. Griffin was Christian by faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Griffin.
Survivors include:Daughter & Son-in-law, Darla & Walter Pace, Hahira, GA, Grandson, Bryn Griffin, Hahira, GA, 2 Brothers, Lewis T. Tommy Griffin, Hahira, GA, Wassie Griffin, Gainesville, FL
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, 2008 in the Salvation Army Corps Building, 320 Smithland Place, Valdosta, GA. The family ask that in lieu of flowers that a memorial contribution be made to the Hospice House of South Georgia, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, GA. 31602
