Of Naylor, GA passed away late Thursday night, June 10, 2004 at her residence following a short battle with cancer. Mrs. Green was born and had lived in Lowndes County all her life. She was a homemaker and postal worker and a member of Naylor United Methodist Church. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Green; great grandson, Tyrus Porter; 2 sisters, Evelyn Spell and Ava Nell Register and brother, Julian Register.

Survivors include: 3 Sons & Daughters-In-Law, Jerry & Linda Green, Naylor, GA, Maxwell & Glenda Green, Naylor, GA, Irvin & Linda Green, Valdosta, GA, Daughter & Son-In-Law, Aleta and Dub Register, Naylor, GA

7 Grandchildren; Jerolyn and Glen Starling, Malyn and Ronald Porter, Tony and Jennifer Green, Suzanne and Todd Pittman, Angela and Trey Hatcher, Clay and Kerri Green, Melanie Register.

15 Great Grandchildren, 2 Sisters-In-Law, Susie Register, Lakeland, GA, Mildred Pate, Augusta, GA, Brother-In-Law, Harris Register, Homerville, GA

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2004 in Naylor United Methodist Church with burial following in Wayfare Cemetery in Echols County, Georgia.
