Of Lake Park passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2012. She was born January 26, 1926 in Lowndes County to the late William Perry Luke and Estelle Nash Luke. Ms. Simpson worked in retail sales and was of Baptist Faith. Along with her parents, Ms. Simpson is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Simpson, her daughter, Penny Clark, and by her son, Wayne Hall.

4 Sons & Daughter-in-Laws: Perry Hall Lake Park, GA, Ricky & Barbara Hall McDonough, GA, James & Christine Benton Naylor, GA, Keith Tumlin Lake Park, GA; Son-in-Law: Jerry Clark Lake Park, GA; Daughter-in-Law: Kay Hall Valdosta, GA; 10 Grandchildren: Joey Hall, Josh Clark, Sheree Beatty, David Hall, Carey Hall, Jessica Hall, Nick Hall, Cherish Hall, Addam Benton, Austin Benton; 12 Great Grandchildren; 3 Sisters & Brother-in-Laws: Christine & Henry Cribbs Lowndes County, Faye & Ed Arrowwood Lowndes County, Iris & Luther Stubbs Lowndes County; 1 Brother: Charles Luke Lake Park, GA; Several other extended family members.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
