Of Cecil, GA passed away on Saturday September 21, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born on August 23, 1942 in Adel, GA to the late Irby and Gaynell (Adams) Rentz. Emogene was a skilled gardener of flowers, she loved jewelry and watching the tv show “Supernatural”. Anyone who knew Emogene knew she had a “strong constitution!” Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Mashburn.
Survivors include Grandchildren Laci (James) Rankhorn of Valdosta, GA and April (J.T.) Johnson of Cecil, GA; 6 great grandchildren; Son-in-law, Ricky Mashburn of Hahira, GA; Sisters, Opal Sineath of Cecil, GA and Nell Brooks of Hahira, GA; Special Niece, Angelia Brown of Brunswick, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated and no formal services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Hamilton Family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
