Of Valdosta passed away Friday, September 03, 2010 in South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on September 12, 1946 in the Philippines to the late Ramon & Albina Ledesma Ruffy. He was one of the specialists at the Diabetes Management Center at South Georgia Medical Center. He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mariqueta Ruffy, M.D. and brother, Ramon Ruffy, Jr.
He is survived by his, Sister & Brother-in-law, Alma & John Murray, Brooklyn, NY; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Dr. Mauro L. & Elsie B. Ruffy, Manhasset, NY, Jose L. & Priscilla Ruffy, Middle Village, NY; Sister-in-law, Ma. Carazon Ruffy, Vancouver, BC; A number of Nieces, Nephews and extended family members
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 6, 2010 in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Saturday, September 4, 2010 and Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the funeral home.
