Ms. Ermastine E. Phillips passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in her home under the loving care of her daughter, Corlis Elaine Walker “Laine”. She was born on June 30, 1949 to the late Mr. and Mrs. George Whitaker.
Erma leaves to mourn her passing a loving sister, Phyllis (Darren) Yearby of Barney, Georgia and brother, Ernest (Atlay) Whitaker of Washington, D.C., three children, Tonja (Elkanah) Crockett of Springfield, Georgia, Anthony McRae of Adel, Georgia, Brian McRae (Sarah) of Adel, Georgia and Elaine Walker of Valdosta, Georgia. Eleven Grandchildren Kayla Crockett, Anthony McRae, Brice McRae, Brian McRae, Brianna Crockett, Jazlyn McRae, Brandon McRae, Jada Crockett, Ayianna McRae, Briella McRae and Shelby McRae, six great grandchildren, four nieces and two nephews.
She would not be happy if we did not mention her last living Aunt Annette and Earnestine and while she loved her many cousins her road dog Martha (Paul) Robinson of Valdosta, Georgia was there to the end. We would run out of space, if we mentioned you all, so we sadly must draw the line in the sand and say if you are reading this, know that she had a special place in her heart for you as well.
