Ernestine Claudette Hooker

Ernestine Claudette Hooker, age 82, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away peacefully at South Georgia Medical Center on Thursday, October 23, 2025. She was born on December 7, 1942, in Adel, Georgia to late parents, Curtis Clements and LaVern Yost Hamner.

She was the head server at Mom and Dad’s Italian Restaurant and loved spending time with her grandchildren, working on puzzle books, cooking, and singing in the kitchen. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Scott and sister, Dottie Christianson.

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Scott of Douglas, GA, Deanna Eversole (Michael) of East Bernstadt, KY, Angela Hand (Robert) of Hahira, GA, Tamara Hooker of Lithia Springs, GA; grandchildren, Trey (Amber), Corey, Tyler (Savannah), Kaylee (Andrew), Zoie, Payten, Skylar, Makyla, Robert Jr. Lance, Andrea and Karissa; great grandchildren, Trenton, Olivia, Madison, Nicholas, Adalyn, Zavior, Maddie, Harper, Ella and Brynleigh; brother hayes Carter (Peggy) of Savannah, Ga and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
