Of Valdosta passed away Friday, September 28, 2007 in Fellowship Nursing Home. She was born on January 15, 1923 in Pike County, AL to the late James & Claudie Pridgen. She was a member of Pine Hurst Baptist Church. Ms. Bickel was preceded in death by her husband Russell Bickel and 2 sons; Hayward Botts and Jim Botts.
Survivors include:Daughter-in-law, Myra Hall, Valdosta, GA, 5 Grandchildren, Bo Botts, Colorado, Jamie Botts, Atlanta, GA, Teressa Botts, Columbus, Lauri Timm, La Porte, IN, Sean Birge, Myrtle Beach, SC, A number of nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 1, 2007 in Pine Hurst Baptist Church in Columbus, GA .with Rev. Tony Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Benning Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Pine Hurst Baptist Church.
