Of Valdosta, Georgia peacefully passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, in Valdosta, Georgia. She was born on December 10, 1942, to the late Raymond Nobels and Ethel Musslewhite in York, Alabama. Ethel had simple yet fulfilling needs. She found joy in the quiet rhythm of gardening, tending to her flowers with care and patience. The vibrant colors of her blooms brought her a sense of peace, and she took great pleasure in watching them grow. When the work was done, she would often settle into a cozy chair on the porch, sipping tea and watching the world pass by. It was in those moments of calm, surrounded by nature and the soft murmur of the breeze, that Ethel felt most at home. Along with her parents, Ethel; is preceded in death with her Husband, Bobby Goff, sons, Lee Goff, Dan Goff and Glenn Goff and her loving dog, Hank. Ethel with be accompanied to her final resting place with two pieces of her heart, her sons Glenn and Lee Goff.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Goff of Valdosta, Georgia; granddaughter, Jennifer Griffith (Jeremy) of Shalamar, Fl; Grandson, Brandan Grimsley (Nicole Yarde) of Valdosta, Georgia; Grandson, Glenn Goff Jr. (Emily); Sisters: Gloria Hisaw of Adel, Georgia, Lois Jordan(Kenny) of Perry, Fl and Merrie Zipperer of Dasher, Georgia; Brother, Joe (Bonnie) Nobles of Ocilla, Georgia; Numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and extended family members.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 30, 2024 at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the funeral home. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Goff family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Valdosta.
