Of Lakeland passed peacefully with a smile on her face surrounded by family early Saturday July 9, 2016 night at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born May 10, 1918 in Berrien County to the late Lester & Florence Vickery. Ms. Ethel was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 42 in Wauchula. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, "Skinny" Moncrief and a Son Howard Lester Moncrief.
Survivors include
2 Daughters; Nell Alexander, Indian Lake Estates, FL., Rose Dowdy, Auburndale, FL., Son; John Moncrief Lakeland, GA. 10 Grandchildren 19 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great great grandchildren
Brother ; Wilbur Vickery Wauchula, FL
As per Ms. Ethel's wishes no formal viewing will be held. Graveside services will be held at 11:00A.M. Sunday July 10, 2016 in Mud Creek Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers; please make donations to a charity of your choice.
