Of Valdosta, GA passed away Saturday morning November 24, 2012 at his residence after a short illness. He was born September 1, 1935 in Moultrie, GA to the late William Ira Johnson and Marie Harrod Johnson. Mr. Johnson served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of Bemiss Road Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA. Mr. Johnson enjoyed Fishing catching & eating and Gardening, very active with his church family and helped maintain the beatification of the church grounds. He was an active member of the Disabled American Veterans, and enjoyed traveling with the Senior Citizens. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Gina Marie Johnson, brother, Joseph Ira Johnson, and a sister, Peggy Ann Clark.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Monday, November 26, 2012 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services in Valdosta, GA with Dr. Danny Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in New Ramah Cemetery in Ray City, GA. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 5:00PM-7:00PM in Music Funeral Services of Valdosta, GA. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bemiss Road Baptist Church Building Fund, 3307 Bemiss Road, Valdosta, GA 31605.
