Eugene “Gene” Leslie Molisee – 78
Of Ray City, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Banner Bosewell Medical Center in Sun City, Arizona. He was born on May 24, 1945 in New Eagle Boro, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence Molisee and Millison (Swindling) Molisee. Gene served his country in the United States Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after 27 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 115 and served as Commander for 6 years. He was also a member of the VFW in Nashville, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of First Baptist Church Ray City where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed serving the Ray City community by giving his time and effort. His most enjoyed hobby was woodworking. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Ronald Molisee, Harold Molisee; his sister, Patricia Brunack and his brother-in-law, Edward Yakich.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Dasher Molisee of Ray City, Georgia; daughter, Teresa Bullard of Hahira, Georgia; son, Billy Molisee (Regina) of Cairo, Georgia; grandchildren: Kelly Herring (Jarrod), Kayla McDowell (Kevin), Jamie Bullard, Luke Molisee and Lane Molisee; great grandchildren: Brynlee, Britton, Jett and Jensee Herring, Bowen and Millie McDowell; sisters, Noreen Yakich of Charleroi, Pennsylvania, Barbara Hartman (Matty) of Charleroi, Pennsylvania; brothers: Nelson Molisee (Toni) of West Newton, Pennsylvania, sister-in-law, Jerrye Molisee of Dale City, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Ray City. The burial will follow in Westview Cemetery, Nashville, Georgia where full military honors rendered. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the funeral home. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
