Eugene "Gene" Doyle Trowell –78
Of Lake Park, GA passed away Monday evening, July 22, 2013 in the Baptist Village of Waycross, GA after a lengthy illness. He was born September 22, 1934 to the late David and Sallie "Sarah" Deen Trowell in Douglas, GA. He was a Baptist by faith, and worked as a commercial refrigeration and A/C repair man in the Lowndes county area. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Mercer Trowell.

Son & Daughter-in-Law:Billy & Vicky Trowell of Alma, GA;
Son & Daughter-in-Law:David & Cindy Trowell of Waycross, GA;
Daughter & Son-in-Law: Glenda & Jesse Ellis of Valdosta, GA;
Daughter & Son-in-Law: Ginger & Glenn Lynch of Alma, GA;
Step Daughter & Son-in-Law: Connie & Lee Taylor of Atlanta, GA;
Step Daughter: Bonnie Nix of Valdosta, GA;
Step Son & Daughter-in-Law: Donnie & Mary Lea Mercer of Valdosta, GA;
Step Son: Johnnie Mercer of Valdosta, GA;

Funeral Services will be held will be held Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00A.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Park, GA. The family will receive friends Friday, from 10:00A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
