She attended Sardis Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jo Sandlin, 2 brothers, Billy Vann and Robert Vann and 2 sisters, Clara William and Vonnie Jean Parrimore.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2011 in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon - 1:30 PM December 12, 2011 at the funeral home.
