Of Valdosta passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 at her daughter's residence. She was born on October 12, 1930 in Valdosta to the late Marrie Franklin & Myrtle Irene Vann. She attended Sardis Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jo Sandlin, 2 brothers, Billy Vann and Robert Vann and 2 sisters, Clara William and Vonnie Jean Parrimore.
She is survived by her, Husband, JB Bennett, Valdosta, GA; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Diane & Ellis Corbett, Lake Park, GA, Kate & BB Smith, Lake Park, GA, Margie & Charles Miles, Lake Park, GA, Elaine & Ron Rife, Lake Park, GA; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Jim & Diane Carter, Lake Park, GA, Jack & Rhonda Carter, Lake Park, GA, Jerry & Beth Carter, Lake Park, GA; 18 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Sisters & Brother-in-law, Sara & Jack White, Valdosta, GA, Faye & Bobby Watson; Brother, Franklin Vann, Valdosta, GA; Special Friend, Rose, Lake Park, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews and extended family members
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2011 in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon - 1:30 PM December 12, 2011 at the funeral home.
