Eva Lee Heard

Of Lakeland, passed away Monday evening, April 26, 2010 in the Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center. She was born November 16, 1933 in Broxton, Georgia to the late Mackey and Daisy Smith. She worked at Nashville Mills and was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas R. Heard, Sr., and 2 sisters Vader Foskey & Ruby Mae Thompson.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Austin Deloach, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
