Of Lakeland passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Hazlehurst, GA. on July 29, 1923 to the late D.C. & Ethel Laricy Moody. She was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Browning was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Browning.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 20, 2006 in Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Rowan Sirmans and Bro. Lamar Bennett officiating. Burial followed in Fender Cemetery.
