Evelyn Ganas Joyce Register

Of Lakeland, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born October 28, 1928 in Lanier County, Georgia to the late Buck and Lillie Cowart Ganas. She was a homemaker and is a member of Unity United Methodist Church for 43 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Chandler Lewis Joyce.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2010 in the Unity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tony Crosby officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will be placed in the church one prior to service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 16, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Grace Hospice, 101 W. Northside Drive, Bldg E, Valdosta, GA 31602.
